Range Aid – BLM – Arizona Strip (St. George Office)

Wage: 12$-15$ depending on experience.

Location: Arizona Strip (duty station St. George Ut.)

Description:

THIS INTERNSHIP IS BASED AT Bureau of Land Management St. George UT

The intern will participate as a member of range team for the Arizona Strip District; they will assists the range staff in many duties such as: weed treatment, rangeland condition monitoring, data collection, rangeland improvements, and other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Valid driver’s license.
  2. Physically able to hike multiple miles in rough terrain.
  3. Applicants who possess range aid skills and who are pursuing a degree in fields related to Range, and Natural Resources management will be given greatest consideration.

ALL IIC INTERNSHIPS MUST BE TIED TO THE EARNING OF AN ACADEMIC CREDIT SUCH AS: EDGE PROJECTS, DEPARTMENTAL INTERNSHIPS, PRACTICUM OR ASSIGNMENT, COOPERATIVE EDUCATION ETC.
