Career Internship Corps (CIC) Recreation Crew Member   – Openings: 10

 

Challenge yourself as a member of a 4 person college aged (18 and over) crew while conducting career oriented work in relation to Natural Resources and outdoor recreation in some of the most beautiful places in Southern Utah.

As a crew member, you will be participating with a crew on re-vegetation/restoration, trail work, recreation facilities, and fence projects at Cedar Breaks National Monument.  Crew work will be carried out in outdoor environments exposed to the elements and is physically intensive.  Crew member must be at least 18 and have outdoor experience, a positive attitude, maturity, and flexibility.

Depending on project availability, the CIC Recreation Crew may also be working in Cedar Breaks National Monument or with the Bureau of Land Management in Cedar City. Preference may be given to candidates with prior Conservation or Land Management Crew experience.

 

Start Date: August 29, 2015

 

End Date: November 30th  (depending on available projects)

 

Training Dates:

 

  • May 11, 2015 to May 14, 2015 Southern Utah University
