Wage: $12.19 – 13.68 per hr DOE
Location: Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (Kanab)
THIS INTERNSHIP IS BASED AT BLM Kanab Field Office
Intern selected will utilize and increase skills in wildlife management including capturing andhandling wildlife, inventorying and monitoring rangeland, natural resources, collection of seeds, and naturalresource data collection and management. This position may require some limited work on the weekends and limited overnight camping
Some experience in one or all of the following is helpful but not necessary to apply for the internship position: biology, botany, physical science, zoology. Must have valid driver’s license. Background check required upon selection.
Weekly Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, Mid May – End of August
Work Environment: Intern will be exposed to a variety of weather conditions (temperatures 45 – 105+ degrees).
