Administrative Support – BLM – Richfield

Location:  Richfield, UT

Description:

THIS INTERNSHIP IS BASED AT THE BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT – RICHFIELD FIELD OFFICE

As an Administrative Support Intern for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) the individual would assist with many administrative duties including: covering the front desk, greeting and directing visitors, answering and directing incoming telephone calls, selling maps and vegetative permits, and perform various clerical support functions such as photocopying, filing, etc.

 

Qualifications:

Consideration would be given to applicants that have:

  1. You must be attending or planning to attend SUU or Snow College in 2018
  2. Clerical skills
  3. People skills
  4. Organizational skills
  5. Attention to detail  

 

Applicants who possess these skills and who are pursuing a degree in fields related to public administration, business, real estate, and natural resources would be given greatest consideration.

 

ALL IIC INTERNSHIPS ARE REQUIRED TO BE TIED TO THE EARNING OF AN ACADEMIC CREDIT. Credits can be EDGE projects, departmental internships, cooperative education, practicums, assignments, research, etc.

  4. Save application and email it to Michael Utley at mutley@blm.gov in the subject line put IIC INTERNSHIP APPLICATION You can also print your application and bring it to Miranda Gubler at the IIC offices.

 

Submit IIC application, resume, transcripts, and statement of interest. Applications must be received by March 15, 2018.
